I’m Robs Talbot, founder of Monday Magic.
I've spent more than 20 years in the corporate world, including 15 years in leadership, most of it focused on the human side of work: employee experience, culture, internal communication and wellness. In the companies I've worked for I've always been the one who noticed the gap between what a company believed about its culture and what people were actually feeling.
Two things became obvious to me, that I was determined to solve.
Employee benefits were either forgettable or built for when something goes wrong. This doesn’t help your employees who can’t afford their taxi fare on Wednesday.
The offered benefits were clunky and people struggled to use them.
With a background in both Product and People, I built Monday Magic to close these gaps.
Monday Magic exists to help make South Africa a better place to work for the employees who usually get the least, and need it the most.
This is my purpose.
