Free Airtime

Every Monday, your employees get to pick a tile. Every tile reveals guaranteed airtime between R5 and R40 across MTN, Vodacom, Cell C and Telkom.

Their own number is the default, but they can send it to someone else if they prefer. A second SIM, a parent, a child, whoever needs it more that week.

52 tiles a year. 52 wins. No exceptions. Funded by Monday Magic.

Everyday Savings

Every Monday, a fresh grocery basket opens up. They choose from a range of staple products at Shoprite / Checkers, fill their basket, and check out. Coupons arrive by SMS and get scanned at the till.

R10 or R20 off per item: chicken, rice, cooking oil, maize, washing powder.

Coupons can be shared with family if someone else needs it more that week. Employees can see their total savings inside Monday Magic. Savings reset every Monday morning, funded by Monday Magic. The employee pays nothing.

Emergency Support

Only 15% of South Africans have medical aid (StatsSA General Household Survey, 2024), and for most employees the public system is all there is. Ambulances can take hours to arrive, if they arrive at all.

A medical emergency gets a private ambulance and clinical team, with the employee stabilised and transported to the right facility. A breakdown gets roadside assistance: towing, a jumpstart, a tyre change, a petrol top-up. A car accident means someone manages the entire Road Accident Fund claim on their behalf, most South Africans don't even know they're entitled to one.

Birthdays & Anniversaries

Most companies want to acknowledge the moments that matter for every employee. The hard part is doing it consistently, for everyone, in a way that feels personal rather than ad-hoc.

Monday Magic handles this seamlessly: every birthday, every work anniversary, a personalised message from your company and a gift they choose themselves.

This kind of gesture makes employees tell their families. It creates loyalty a salary increase cannot buy.

Lift Clubs

Frontline employees often don't have a company email address. If two colleagues on the same shift live ten minutes apart, they may never find out.

Monday Magic gives them a noticeboard. They post their shift times and area, opt in, share a number, and arrange the lift themselves.

Cheaper commutes, for the people who need it most.

Magic Moments

Not every benefit needs to save money. Sometimes the most valuable thing a company can offer is a minute of calm in a long day.

Magic Moments is a short mindfulness prompt built into Monday Magic. The employee picks a category, a prompt appears, and they get back to their day. They can share it with a friend over WhatsApp, or tap for another.

Small gestures compound.

WHY MONDAYS MATTER

How you feel on Monday sets the tone for the week.

The vibe on a Monday often tells you how your business feels to work in. Even strong cultures have blind spots, and Monday morning is where they show up first.

Money worries don't stay at home. They come to work too. 76% of employees say financial stress has affected their productivity at work (PwC). That's not a wellness statistic. That's an operational one.

Your best people believe in what they're part of, and it shows in how they perform. They speak up, step up, and bring others with them. Advocates are worth more than most companies realise, and their trust is built one week at a time, not in a single year-end party.

Companies with highly engaged people see 23% higher profitability (Gallup). The people who feel looked after tend to stay, and that matters more than most budgets account for: replacing someone can cost 50% to 200% of their annual salary (SHRM).

Looking after your people makes good good business sense. It's also the right thing to do.

Monday Magic gives your employees another reason to stay with you longer to continue to grow your customer base and your company.
